Fees

In today’s health care system, many ordinary Americans have trouble finding and receiving the care they need. Over-priced health insurance policies with enormous deductibles essentially force patients to pay out-of-pocket, and yet many health care providers maintain fees that are unrealistically high for the average person.

For these and other reasons, Dr. Eha runs his practice using a simple fee-for-service business model. He provides straightforward, up-front pricing for his services. Moreover, his low operating overhead allows him to keep his fees affordable, both for his services as well as necessary laboratory or imaging services.

Because health insurance pays only for “necessary treatment” as they define it, and does not cover many of the procedures that he performs, Dr. Eha does not accept insurance. However, he does provide a coded insurance claim receipt to each patient, which the patient can send to their insurance carrier for possible reimbursement. Dr. Eha makes no guarantee that the insurance carrier will provide reimbursement to his patients, as this depends on the carrier’s policies.

Patients who do not have health insurance or have a policy with a high deductible find that his fees fit well within their normal budget. Patients with health savings accounts find that his fees and the thoroughness of his services fit easily into the health savings account model of care.
